NORFOLK, Va. — Conditions couldn't have been more favorable for today's Norfolk Harborfest Parade of Sail. Although not as warm as it has been, highs managed to reach the upper 70s and lower 80s today. 

This evening, expect partly cloudy skies along with temperatures that will drop into the 70s and by later tonight, expect an increase in cloud cover with overnight lows dropping into the mid 60s. 

Heading into the weekend, chances for rain begin to increase. The best chances for showers (and possibly a stray storm or 2) will come during the mid to late afternoon tomorrow. While Sunday looks to be bit drier for most, there is a still a chance of a couple stray showers and/or storms. 

Weekend daytime highs look to be in the lower 80s. Temperatures will warm up again as we head into early next week. 

All is quiet in the tropics and tropical cyclone formation is not expected in the next five days.
